Steelwork connection specialists Access Technologies has launched the BeamClamp SF flange to support heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The clamps are malleable iron fixings supplied in an electro-zinc plated finish with a screw which clamps onto the steel flange and a lock nut to hold the clamp securely in position, ensuring fast installation. A hemispherical washer and cup provide pivotable suspension action enabling a threaded bar to be hung through a drilled hole into sloping steelwork. A vee-nut utilises a light duty fixing designed for connecting into the dovetail profile of a composite floor decking with a 15? tapered slot to suit various threaded rod sizes.

Two new fixing types have been launched by Access Technologies for connecting flooring to steelwork. The BeamClamp Floorfix clip is designed for connecting solid chequer or durbar plate in position to existing steelwork. A pressed steel bottom and top bracket design, the BeamClamp Grating Clip fixes down open mesh grating to steelwork.
