With compliance with new Part E sound insulation high on the agenda, the Aircrete Bureau claims that satisfying these regulations is simple with Aircrete blocks. Aircrete can be used for the separating of flanking walls of semi detached and terraced housing, as well as for separating and flanking walls in flats and apartments when used alongside Robust Details for separating floors.
Aircrete blocks are becoming a popular solution in meeting of the requirements of Part E of the Building Regulations, says Aircrete Bureau. It says that the use of Robust Details E-WM-6 (concrete mortar) and E-WM-7 (thin layer mortar) can save time in the construction process while providing the necessary acoustic properties.
