New colours and finishes have been added to the iCON range of domestic ventilation fans from Airflow. The range is now available in gold, silver, and anthracite grey finishes. As well as the new finishes designed to complement the glacier white fan, a range of colour combinations are available for special order. As a result of two years research and development the iCON range from Airflow has been launched. Its unusual iris shutter mechanism prevents back draughts and helps reduce noise ingress from outside. The product is available in three sizes - the iCON 15, 30 and 60 - all meeting current Building Regulations for toilet, bathroom, utility and kitchen extraction. The 15 version is ductable over short runs. The 30 and 60 centrifugal/axial flow technology overcomes the back pressure of longer duct runs of rigid, flexible or flat ducting. Interchangeable control modules can be used with any fan. Control options include pull cord, timer, humidity, PIR trickle ventilation and boost override.

Ventilation fans from Airflow's iCON range have been supplied to the newly opened 'easyHotel' in central London. The first easyHotel is at 14 Lexham Gardens. Customers book their rooms on the company's website on the basis of the earlier the booking, the less a customer pays. iCON fans have been installed in the bathrooms of the rooms in the London site. The ventilation was chosen because its slim, circular design delivers powerful extration to ventilate the room. Also, the iRIS shutters help reduce external noise coming into the room, an important consideration in a central London location.
