More capacity for exchanger
The new AC230 and AC500 brazed heat exchangers from alfa laval feature two refrigerant circuits to enable them to handle a range of duties.
The units are optimised for use with R4 10a, provide 20 per cent more capacity, and will fit within the same footprint as the original units, says the firm. The AC230 is ideal for use as an evaporator in a chiller in the 50-250 kW range or a condensor in heat pumps in the range 30-150 kW. The AC500 is designed for larger kW.Enquiry number: 11231

Designed with district/community heating networks in mind, Alfa Laval's new AquaFlow/AquaStore 2-Port tap water heaters complement their existing three and four port model range.
Tap water heaters provide large quantities of instantaneous or semi-instantaneous domestic hot water to buildings linked to district heating networks.
The firm says that the new units combine high levels of efficiency with user safety. The system takes the heat from a primary hot water source and transfers it to the secondary or domestic cold water, heating it to around 60°C, for domestic use.
The new 2-Port TWHs can utilise different types of Alfa Laval heat exchanger to match them to their intended purpose. Enquiry number: 11261
