Energy-saving inverter drives from Alldales Drive Systems have been specified to provide added comfort for tenants of offices in a new complex at Cardinal Place. Some 200 inverter drives are to be used at the scheme adjacent to London's Victoria Station. They are to be linked with a building management system to regulate fans and pumps throughout the twin-building complex, offering flexible environmental control.

By adjusting motor speeds to match requirements, the inverter drives can deliver savings of 40% compared to traditional methods of air and fluid flow regulation.

As part of its continuous research and investment into conserving energy consumption, ASDA is to trial inverter drives from Alldales Drive Systems in selected stores. The drives, designed for HVAC use, will be fitted initially to air handling units. They have been installed to deliver energy efficiencies by regulating motor speed to maintain the desired temperature levels.
