The portfolio of designer steel cladding panels from Arval by Arcelor Mittal has been extended in the UK with the launch of a UV- and corrosion-resistant finish that brings a deliberate weathered effect to facades. The Edyxo finish from Arval's Colorissime portfolio has been developed to help architects and specifiers meet the trend for traditional aesthetics whether it is in new-build or refurbishment applications. While Edyxo's form may be traditional, its function is innovative, utilising Arval's renowned Hairultra paint system which is applied before shaping to ensure longevity. There are four colours that are speckled to mimic aged steel – blue, green, red and cream. Edyxo is available on all Arval cladding products including the trapezoidal profile Trapeza, sinusoidal Frequence and asymmetrical Oceane which can be used in single-skin construction or as part of a built-up system incorporating liners and trays.

A mixed-use development in the dockland town of The Wirral, has made first use in the UK of a composite floor decking system from Arval by ArcelorMittal.
The galvanised steel systems were supplied within two weeks of order and were installed throughout and on the roof within 15 working days.
The steel frame building used Arval's Cofraplus 60 open-rib trapezoidal and nestable composite floor decks manufactured from 0.75mm gauge steel and designed for medium spans up to 3.6 metres without props. This fulfilled the designed brief which specified ease of installation, while allowing open-plan apartments with a shallow deck profile and compliance with Part E requirements.
Architect Fiona Wroot of Wroot Design commented; 'Arval was an inherent part of the construction and interfaced almost seamlessly with the other elements.' Helping to created a floating building over the ground floor.
