A-grade is the new norm

Ariston has announced that from this year, all of its boilers will be Band A-rated only. Thanks to the recently-developed range of new generation high efficiency boilers, Ariston says it can offer "optimum performance and energy saving benefits". The advantage of Band A boilers is that they can be installed as 'renewables ready', thereby offering the potential for the integration of Low/Zero Carbon (LZC) technologies such as solar thermal technology. The Genus HE and Clas HE ranges reduce running costs and carbon footprint due to accurate environmental monitoring and control. Central to these boilers is the "auto" function. This function provides maximum energy efficiency by accurately matching boiler output to room conditions and individual comfort requirements. When activated the boiler selects the ideal temperature for the central heating circuit, gradually heating the system water, and eliminating peaks in the flow, minimising thermal stress on the boiler, and prolonging its life.
