A new antimicrobial finish to Autron's range of Low Surface Temperature Radiators (LST) has been launched.
Autron LST Radiators provide a safer environment, with a reduced surface temperature to prevent the risk of burns to vulnerable children and adults, and are suitable for new and refurbishment projects, including nursing homes and sheltered housing schemes.
The new product features a Steritouch antimicrobial powder coated finish offering long term protection against the risk of illness from bacterias such as MRSA, Salmonella and E.coli. It is claimed by the company that it will reduce the population of bacteria by betwee 99.99% and 99.9999% within 24 hours. As the active ingredient is incorporated into the polymer itself, it will retain its antimicrobial action for the life of the finished radiator.
The company has a selection of LST radiators, including the Slenderline which is only 75mm deep. Radiators can be floor or wall-mounted, with top and front grille options.
Designed to be easy to fit, Low Surface Temperature Radiators are available from Autron. Included in the range is the 75mm Slenderline LST which meet the NHS requirement of a 43?C maximum surface temperature. Other models include the Euroline and Sterling as well as the Sovereign, a top of the range model for demanding applications such as school corridors.
