Some 660m² of Clearmac gravel cold applied paving from Ayton Products has been installed around the indoor swimming pool at Talacre Beach Leisure Park, near Rhyl. Work involved the removal of the existing surface, refurbishment of underfloor drainage channels and the laying of the resin bonded, durable Clearmac wearing course.

Formerly marketed as Clearmac, Ayton Products has relaunched its range of clear resin coated chippings under the name Colourchip. The chippings comprise aggregates pre-coated with a proprietary clear resin via a hot applied process. This resin is hydrocarbon based an therefore compatible with bitumen binders, allowing the chippings to be bonded into hot rolled asphalt.

Norfolk based Ayton Products has re-launched its proprietary resin bonded surface dressing system, which is now to be known as Stonebond. Formerly marketed as Clearmac, Stonebond is a cold-applied, polyurethane resin surface dressing used for bonding aggregates to macadam, asphalt, concrete or metal surfaces. Applied to new construction or existing surfaces, it is designed to provide a durable, textured surface.
