Working safely at height, often over 100m above the ground, was a prime concern at the new Wembley Stadium. The contract scaffolders employed Bacou-Dalloz to provide a solution, who recommended Miller Fall Arrest range of products. The Miller Falcon self-retracting lifeline allows freedom of movement, improving productivity and reducing fatigue. The aluminium and stainless steel components with high-impact resistant nylon housing were suitable for construction demands. Comfort was added through the addition of the Miller Duraflex elasticated harness. Also used was Miller ME05 twin tail webbing shock absorbing lanyard complete with karabiner and two tough 50mm steel scaffold hooks. The Miller Inertia reel fall arrester gave the wearer 2.5m of movement for the anchorage point and features an integral shock absorber.
