Leading national hire company Buckhurst Plant Hire has bought 22 brand new Barford site dumpers to boost its fleet. These include 10 SK10 High Capacity Dumpers (each capable of handling a 10 tonne payload), a dozen of the SXR Rotary Tipping Dumpers, four 3 tonne SXR3000s and eight 6 tonne SXR6000s.

British site dumper manufacturer, Barford, recently delivered an order for 12 SX6000 and six 10-tonne SK10 dumpers to Blackburn-based B&W Plant Hire & Sales. The plant hire firm operates more than 650 pieces of equipment. When the company chose to update its fleet it embarked upon a comprehensive research project, assessing all available products before making any final decision. The aim was to replace its 45-strong fleet of six tonne dumpers. Speaking of the decision to select the SX6000 and SK10 dumpers, Will Whiwell, director at B&W said: "Barford simply offered us the best package to grow our already large fleet even further. With good pricing, superior product quality, impressive engine power and reliability, we felt that placing a bigger order with Barford was the right thing to do." With a long history working within the dumper manufacturing sector Barford has a reputation for building tough and hard wearing vehicles for many harsh environments. "Barford site dumpers keep their distinctive good looks for years in spite of the harsh treatment they receive every day," commented Niall Wordsworth, the company's managing director.
