Bewator Entro For Reserving Access To Premises
Bewator Entro is a unique system for reserving access to premises, using a reservation Terminal or via the Internet. This is an ideal solution for:
In short, any facility where you want to allow people/groups to manage the reserving of premises themselves. Only those who have made a reservation have access to the premises during the time in question – they are able to open the door simply with their access cards, whilst the door remains locked to other individuals. The benefit of this system is that it minimises administration, whilst operators maintain full control of security and can monitor who has been in the premises at particular times.
DDA Compliant Hands-Free Access Control
Bewator’s hands-free reader range offers an extended reading range of up to one metre so users do not even have to get their card out of their pocket. This makes it quick and easy for everyone.
For example, hands-free technology offers user-friendly automated access control, which ensures free access for the disabled - compliance with the law - and maintain a secure environment for all.
Bewator has also produced a CD containing all relevant information and presentations detailing the DDA and its impact on the effective security and access control of buildings.

Enhancing the security at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, Bayley Security specified a Bewator Granta system.
The system was connected to more than 200 access points and integrated other security elements, such as door alarms and a baby tagging system for the maternity unit. As a modular access control system, it can potentially be expanded to control more than 2000 access points in the hospital.
Managed via a PC-based software system, the product is future-proof which means that it can be upgraded to protect the end user's investment. As well as the main building, five other outbuildings have been incorporated into a single access control system through an existing LAN fibre optic communications network. To facilitate ease of movement for hospital staff to and from secure areas, the installer specified the company's proximity readers to work with the system.
Access security specialist Bewator has launched Entro 5 access control system. This latest version of Entro offers a number of new functions. A key feature is the segment controller, which has been redesigned to operate as a stand-alone system, without needing to connect to a computer. This makes the controller less vulnerable to tampering, and simplifies system servicing and extensions. Other improvements include door controllers, which have been updated to include an integrated status display, again simplifying maintenance and fault finding, making installation and operation of the system easier.
