Five Broag Quinta boilers have been installed in the newly built Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre in Leeds.
The new 1750m? anchor shaped building has two plant rooms. One of the rooms services the offices and training suite with two Quinta 65 boilers, flued concentrically through the wall. In the other room, three Quinta 85 boilers run continuously servicing radiators, an underfloor heating system and hot water to the kennel area.
Both the Quinta 65 and 85 boilers are high efficiency units with low NOx emissions. They have options for modular control and/or weather compensation programmes that are easy to install.
A number of high efficiency boilers from Broag's Quinta range have been installed at the K Club in Ireland to modernise the heating system.
As many as 50 of the condensing wall hung Quinta 45 and 65 boilers have been fitted in houses across the resort.
The Quinta range comprises four boilers covering output ranges from 5.6kW to 84.2kW with low NOx and carbon emissions.
All boilers in the range feature the company's intelligent advanced boiler control system, which continuously monitors operating conditions, varying the output to suit the system load. This control will react to external negative influences such as flow rates and air/gas supply problems in the rest of the system, maintaining boiler output.
Condensing boilers from Broag's Gas Eco range have been specified for Whitcliffe Mount Secondary School.
Installed in the basement of the school are three Gas 610 boilers and one Gas 310 boiler. Comprising of three models, the Gas Eco range has outputs ranging from 8kW to 654kW, all generating low Nox emissions.
Each boiler in the range operates at 97% GVC efficiency and has a digital diagnostic display for ease of operation and maintenance.
Reducing carbon dioxide emissions, the Avanta 18v from Broag's Remeha Avanta Plus range is the smallest open vented heating boiler available, claims the company. It operates at efficiencies over 90%, assisting in the reduction of CO? emissions. With an intelligent boiler control system, it manages boiler output to maintain a pre-determined flow temperature.
Several Broag boilers have been used as part of a refurbishment of the heating system at St Catherine's and Tickhill Road Hospitals in Doncaster.
The Remeha Gas 210 and 610 condensing boilers, with the Quinta 45 modulating boiler, were installed in several plant rooms at the hospitals. Of these models, the 210 and 610 are floor standing with low NOx emissions and an output ranging from 51kW to 531kW, whilst the Quinta 45 is a wall hung boiler operating at 110% efficiency and an output of 7kW to 40kW.
Expanding its range of Avanta Plus boilers, Broag has introduced the Avanta Plus 35C. The Sedbuk A rated high efficiency 35C boiler provides a flow rate of 14 litres per minute and an output range from 6kW to 30kW.
It operates at the low water pressure of 0.5 bar to ensure a flow rate that makes it suitable for installation in low pressure areas.
Fitting into small spaces, it weighs 32.5kgs and measures 670mm by 400mm wide and 300mm deep. The range is environmentally friendly, providing hot water and heating whilst reducing Carbon Dioxide and NOx emissions. A control system maintains output for as long as possible when negative influences occur.
Oxford City Council has specified Broag Remeha Avanta plus boilers as part of refurbishment of council properties across the city.
The Remeha Avanta Plus 28C combi condensing SEDBUK A rated boilers are being installed as part of the council's commitment to meet the Decent Homes Standard by 2010.
The range consists of three wall hung models with an output from 6kW to 39kW. It is compact in size, measuring only 670mm high, 400mm wide and 300mm deep, which enables easy installation.
Designed for high efficiency and to be environmentally friendly, it provides optimum hot water and heating whilst reducing carbon dioxide and NOx emissions, which cause global warming.
Providing heating and hot water, three Quinta 85 high efficiency wall hung condensing boilers from Broag have been supplied to the club house at Bath Rugby Club.
With consistent energy efficiency, the boilers can be taken out and reinstalled in a different location if desired. The Quinta range comprises four models up to 80kW with 100% pre-mix combustion and low NOx and CO emissions.
Launching a new MK II range of Remeha Gas 210 ECO boilers, Broag has produced four lightweight models. Equipped with 'intelligent' boiler controls, they offer high economies at part or full load as well as very low NOx and CO emissions. With sectional cast aluminium heat exchangers and IMS gas/oil ratio control, they provide good efficiency.
