Insulated Trimo-Therm panels and a Twin-Therm Built-Up metal roof and cladding system from CA Building Products have been used at Duchy Original Bakery's Cornish base. Due to the products environmental properties, the building achieved a 'very good' BREEAM rating. Offering thermal performance, the cladding contains no CFCs or harmful substances and is recyclable. Fire safety is achieved as the products incorporating non-combustible fibre. After being subjected to a number of tests, it was found that certification was not negated when penetrations were introduced.

With a u-value of 1W/mK, CA Building Products has launched a range of non-fragile rooflights which are designed to achieve energy efficient insulation performance. Non-fragility testing covered purlin centres from 600mm to 1800mm in accordance with testing requirements. Due to non-fragility, less safety nets are required onsite which results in lower costs.
