Cupa Natural Slate has specified on a new family residence - CUPA Natural Slate

ver 20,000 slates from roofing specialist Cupa Natural Slate has been specified on a new family residence in the heart of the Chilterns. The New England style home incorporates a wealth of high specification features from a contemporary fitted kitchen and en-bathrooms to underfloor heating. The Cupa slates were used to complete the roof of the main house, garage and balcony overhangs. Dave Roberts, of Cathedral Homes, said: 'We chose Cupa for this project as their slates are always of a consistent quality and very easy to work with.'

Roofing around complex for new golf club - CUPA Natural Slate

Taking inspiration from the scenery of Loch Lomond, new golf club Lough Erne in Enniskillen Northern Ireland went for the natural option and chose Cupa Natural Slate for the roofing around the complex. Cathal Reilly, of Maxwell Pierce Architects, told Building Products: 'I specified Cupa Natural Slate for this development as it is not only hard wearing and durable, it also looks fantastic. It is important that the resort blends in with the surroundings and the choice of roofing material was an essential part of that, so Cupa was a natural choice.'

Barrett Homes' new development in the historic town of Chippenham has chosen CUPA natural slate for its roofing. The development of one and two bedroom apartments, two bedroom maisonettes and three bedroom town houses is scheduled to complete at the end of the year. Wisdom on natural slate - CUPA Natural Slate

The programme will be used by the college in conjunction with the roofing syllabus for Level 2 NVQ Qualification students. The programme has been designed to offer an insight into the production and quality control process involved in the production of natural slate as well as practical advice and guidance.
