Introduced to the UK market is the Cannon Ecaflo water decontamination system which removes the risk of Legionnaires and other water borne diseases, as well as eradicating build-up of biofilm that aids the growth of spores.
Ecasol, an activated solution produced by the company's units, has been scientifically proven to prevent the development of Legionnaires' as well as testing effective against bacteria, spores and fungi, including MRSA and anthrax, at the NHS test bed hospital in Birmingham. It has accredited by a multitude of international bodies, including the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Department of Health and Human Sevrices.
The systems are based on the electro-chemical activation technology developed by Vitold Bakhir. By passing a salt water solution through a flow-through electrolytic reactor within an Ecaflo system, Ecasol is producted. Reducing only to salt and water after use, Ecasol is pH neutral, non-toxic and colourless.
