Cellular plastic fascia, soffits, and bargeboards from Celuform have been specified for housing developments by George Wimpey. Within the range of the company's systems are plain and decorative choices, square or bull-nosed profiles, as well as a selection of white finishes and colours such as Expresso Brown, Mahogany, Golden Oak and Ebony in widths of 150-450mm. Brands that are specified normally include Conquest, Elite, multi-purpose board used as soffit, Duoform, Emperor, and open V-joint and shiplap claddings.

Four new colours have been added to the Celutex shiplap range from Celuform. The pvc-u embossed wood grain finish is now available in warm white, cream, sand, and light green. Aesthetically, the product looks like timber, but it is resistant to damp, rot, decay, frost or insect attack. Single boards are 150mm and double boards are 300mm wide.

Applied at Bradford's Co-operative supermarket is Celuform's Ebony Elite fascia and soffit boards. The company's product is a 25mm bull-nosed flat backed board which allows direct fixing of rainwater systems and a clean finish. A 450mm fascia was required, so a 300mm and 175mm board was used with a joint. There was step detailing where a second finish was used.

The front aspect of Everest House, a three storey 1960s development, is being restored with the company's 150mm shiplap cladding. The product is a traditionally shaped, tongue and groove jointed system. A range of edge, corner and joint trims ensures a neat and complete finish. The fascia is a bull-nosed flat-backed board that allows direct fixing of rainwater systems without any additional timber support. Grooved versions support horizontal soffit boards and inclined grooves can be incorporated as a special version if the design requires the soffit to be pitched and fixed direct to the rafter.

According to the company, Torus Duoliner is the lowest list price ogee fascia board available in the UK. The product features DuoShield, a coextrusion process which has been developed for rigidity and durability. This process creates a skin that wraps around the whole board, front and back. Some 96 houses at Ashley Park on the Isle of Man have been refurbished using pvc-ue roofline products from Celuform. Conquest 19mm fascia and 10mm vented soffit board in ?warm white? was specified as a low maintenance solution. Conquest is a square-edged board with fixed groove and return leg and it will accept horizontal or inclined soffit boards. It is available in 150mm to 400mm widths and rainwater systems can be fixed directly to the fascia without needing timber support.
