'Tight construction timescales meant that conventional builder-built bathrooms were not an option. In addition, pre-made bathrooms offered a more cost-effective but we were not prepared to compromise on quality,' said development co-ordinator Paul Gillespie. 'The pods have a quality feel that we have not seen in bathroom pods before.' The 457 pods were manufactured off-site at Chrysalis Pod & Modular Systems' factory in Hull.
