Clark-Drain is reminding builders and specifiers that Building Regulations Part H state that to reduce the risk of accidents, properties with a drainage inspection chamber of more than 1.2 metres depth must ensure that the opening is reduced to no more than 350mm. To meet this requirement the company has introduced the CLKS 499 reducer which is light and easy to install. Featuring a snap lock system, it is compatible with a number of other manhole covers.
Designed to overcome many of the problems associated with traditional drainage systems, Clark- Drain, an innovator in drainage technology, has launched a new range of Linear Drainage products. The range extends from systems with loadings up to 15kN for domestic drive, through 250kN for car parks and similar applications, up to 900kN for industrial use. There are also specialist ranges that can be specified for kerbs, heavy traffic areas and applications where vandal resistance is important. Manufactured from polymer concrete, the channels are resistant to chemicals, heat freezing conditions and impact.
