Cast iron column radiators from Clyde's FKR Traditional range are keeping students, tutors and choreographers comfortable and warm at one of the world's premier professional dance schools, the Rambert School of Ballet in Twickenham, London.
The 29 radiators installed include three models in two, four and six column configurations from the extensive range of options in the FKR range.
The timeless styling of FKR Traditional suits both period and contemporary spaces. Radiators can be specified for open vented or sealed central heating systems with a maximum operating pressure of six bar, and can deliver from 43 to 202 W per section, depending on their size. They are constructed from durable ISO 185 grey cast iron sections which are factory assembled and pressure tested.
Blocks are joined together to produce radiator lengths from four to 30 sections. For longer lengths, additional blocks can be supplied, with nipples and joints for site assembling.
The radiators are supplied with the necessary fittings for installation, and a protective primer coat. Optional wall brackets or floor mounts are available.

Clyde supplied 46 traditionally styled Windsor classic cast iron column radiators and a 120 kW biofuel boiler for the project. The compact oil-fired CKRS boiler is according to the company, ideal for retro-fitting in existing boiler rooms, and is also available in outputs from 75 kW to 145 kW and single to two-stage burners.

The range is supplied as fully assembled blocks in a smart pewter finish. All of the manufacturer's cast iron column radiators come complete with the necessary connection fittings and joint rings for easy installation on site. Thermostatic and standard brass valves are also optional accessories on the Clyde's Bohemia range.
