Coram Showers launch new Continental Showers - Coram Showers

Coram Showers has launched the Acora Continental Collection which, it reveals, features a range of European inspired shower enclosures. This includes the Continental Walk-in and a selection of bespoke wet room panels which can be installed on to a composite wet room floor, a tiled wet area or a large shower tray. The Collection will be available through its retail offering. The Acora Continental Collection have been created using Coram's patented design concept, Floating Glass Architecture.

Millwood specifies Coram - Coram Showers

Coram Showers’ Optima range of shower enclosures and its leak-free bath screens have been specified by Millwood Homes (Devon) for a village style development in Hatherleigh, Devon, which consists of 63 properties. Coram’s 800mm Bi-Fold enclosure and 800mm Quadrant enclosure were installed in the development’s three bedroom homes to create spacious showering areas within the ensuite and family bathrooms.

Coram adds to Acora range with Bow Front - Coram Showers

Coram Showers has added to its retail range with the launch of Bow Front Sliding Door enclosure. Measuring 1,200mm, the Bow Front's space-enhancing design has been created to provide a showering area that can be installed in even the most awkward spaces in the bathroom. Aesthetically, the Acora Bow Front Sliding Door presents contemporary curved sliding doors which provide an alternative to traditional enclosure designs. The Bow Front Sliding Door is available with plain glass and chrome frame for corner or alcove situations and can also be fitted with an additional slide panel for installation against a wall.

Shower pods - Coram Showers

Coram Shower Pods has extended its current range of innovative shower pods with the launch of the 950mm Quadrant pod, a luxury corner design which is said to combine watertight protection with straightforward installation. The curved, space-enhancing design of the Quadrant pod maximises the available space in the bathroom without compromising the space inside for the shower user. Peter Dimeloe, managing director of Coram, said: 'The Quadrant pod brings a new of element of style and luxury to our current range of robust, leak-free and maintenance free shower pods.' The pods are finished in silver and can be fitted with a choice of two mixer showers, either mounted or built in.

The enclosure has been designed for both left and right hand installation, which makes stocking and installation much more straightforward. The walk-in enclosure can be installed in both corner and alcove situations. Coram marketing manager Charlie Wallis said: 'The biggest problem with many walk-in enclosures currently on the market is that they are difficult and complicated to fit. 'Also some have needlessly small showering areas resulting from the inclusion of a drying area. 'Our new walk-in enclosure has been specifically designed to address these issues'.

Shower is bathed in glory - Coram Showers

Bathroom product manufacturer Coram Showers will be celebrating the news that its shower enclosures are the most widely used in the trade sector, according to the BRG Consult European Bathroom Product Report. Published in June, the report looks at sales figures in 2006 and confirms that Coram Showers has the third largest share of the overall shower enclosure market, which has increased from the fifth largest in the 2005 Report. Charlie Wallis, marketing manager at Coram, said: 'Central to Coram's growth within the trade sector is the company's understanding of the UK shower enclosure and bath screen market and its awareness of the specific needs of installers. Building of this success, Coram has also recently expanded into the retail market with the launch of the Acora range.'

Etcher opens the options - Coram Showers

Coram Showers has extended the glass finish option for its Premier range of shower enclosures. It follows the installation of a glass etching machine at its manufacturing facility. The options include an all-over satin finish and two stylish etched modesty panels which are available for both flat and curved glass enclosure designs. These can be used, together with plain glass, in almost any combination, providing design flexibility. For example, the Quadrant enclosure could feature plain glass doors with modesty panels on its two side panels, or a clear Frameless Swing door could be combined with an all-over satin semi-frameless side panel.

Output doubled at Waterguard showertrays plant - Coram Showers

Described as a state-of-the-art facility, Coram Showers' newly opened 15,000ft2 plant has more than doubled the production capacity for its Waterguard showertrays. The trays are made using a resin formulation which is claimed to create a stronger, more rigid tray that is less than 50% the weight of other resin-based trays.

Screening the showers - Coram Showers

A new square shaped bathscreen that is available in clear glass with a white or chrome finish has been launched by Coram Showers. The 250mm panel is fitted at the 'tap end' of the bath and features a levelling system. Once the wall channel has been fixed and the screen slotted in, the level can be adjusted by a single screw until in line with the rim of the bath. A push on, transparent polymer seal is fitted to the bottom of the screen, which can be removed for cleaning.

East Lothian development - Coram Showers

Westwood Homes has specified shower enclosures, shower trays and bath screens from Coram Showers for its Green Fields Tranent development of homes in Tranent, East Lothian. The 49 family homes feature enclosures with pivot door, sliding door and bi-fold door designs in the en-suites, with the company's Bathscreens range used to create over-the-bath showers in other bathrooms.

Sliding into place at new residential development - Coram Showers

Enclosure designs from Coram Showers' Optima range have been specified for a residential development in Northamptonshire. The company's 1,200mm sliding door and 760mm pivot door enclosures, with clear glass and polished silver frame, were specified for the en-suites and family bathrooms in the houses. In designs to suit any style, the Optima range offers a collection of durable shower enclosures. In addition to the Pivot door and Sliding door, the range includes the Tri-Fold, Bi-Fold, Quadrant, Corner Entry and Pentagon enclosure designs. An Inline Panel or Side Panel can be installed with any door design to create a larger enclosure. All of the products are tested to BS 6340 against leakage.

Social housing showers - Coram Showers

As a watertight alternative to conventional shower enclosures, Coram Showers has launched a range of shower pods for social housing. Constructed using glass-reinforced polymer (GRP), the durable products can be installed in a single operation. Each pod is manufactured in three or five sections and does not require tiling or sealant to achieve a watertight finish. A Deva Thermostatic Bar Shower Mixer is provided with the pods and it also includes a mounting plate which is fitted to the pod in the factory.

Cornering the market - Coram Showers

Shower enclosures from Coram Showers' Optima range have been specified by Banner Homes. The new properties feature the bi-fold door and corner entry enclosure from the range, which have been included in the family bathrooms and en-suites. Finished in plain glass with a white frame, 800 by 800mm and 900 by 900mm enclosures were utilised. The company's Inline panel was also incorporated for larger enclosures. Bi-fold door and corner entry enclosures now feature a new ergonomically designed metal handle, finished in chrome. This reflects the domed waste on its Waterguard showertray.

Expanding its Optima range of shower enclosures, Coram Showers has launched the 1200mm Tri-Fold door which is suitable for smaller bathrooms and en-suite facilities. The new design combines the Bi-Fold door with a third inward opening door to create a large showering area. When the Tri-Fold is not in use, its doors can be folded to the sides to maximise space. Specified by Leisureplex Hotels, Coram Shower's Premier range of shower enclosures are being installed at Hydro Hotel in Llandudno to convert double and twin bedrooms into single rooms with en-suite facilities. Recently redesigned, the Coram Showers Waterguard Shower tray is being installed by Taylor Woodrow into its Bryant Homes properties across the UK. Launched earlier this year, the Waterguard shower tray was specified for its straightforward installation and ?perfect fit? which helps avoid leaks. The trays are manufactured using Coratech, a new resin developed by Coram which has been designed to create a stronger, more rigid tray that is half the weight of other resin-based trays. The company claim that the hard-wearing, scratch resistant surface of the tray is more durable thant traditional gel coated trays. A new design of tiling upstand has been developed to provide a perfect seal on the wall edges, while the ?waterguard? ensures no leaks on the outer edges between the tray and the enclosure.
