An engineered board, Super Wide Oak has a three layer construction and is available in widths up to 350mm. Designed to offer the durability of a lacquer with the natural appearance of an oil, a range of ?texture lacquered? oak boards has been launched by Edwards Cheshire. The new boards are available in 140mm wide European Oak in five options. For a light finishe the company offers vanilla, fudge and caramel, while darker finishes are achieved with toffee and mocca.
An engineered board with a construction so stable that it is available in widths up to 350mm wide has been introduced by The Wide Plank Co., a division of Edwards Cheshire. Super Wide Planks are made of a three layer construction of European Solid Oak with a structural thickness of 22mm. This allows the company to offer these new engineered boards in four different widths of 200, 250, 300 and 350mm wide. The planks feature an intricate grain pattern in European Oak?s characteristic ?mellow? colour. They can be fitted by either floating, fully bonding or secret nailing and can also be laid over underfloor heating. The new boards come in lengths up to 3.5m and are available prefinished with natural oil.
