Comfort for city centre apartments

Even-Heat Ltd Comfort for city centre apartmentsCreative use of internal space has allowed Bridgewood to turn a former office block in St Albans into apartments with the help of an Even-Heat underfloor heating system. The company has ensured both maximum use of space and discreet comfort at City Point by integrating Even-Heat underfloor heating systems into the floors throughout all 12 apartments. Every square centimetre of room space has been put to practical use, while the large areas of low temperature radiant heating guarantee a pleasant internal environment whatever the weather outside. As part of the installation, loops of Even-Heat's special cross-linked polyethylene pipe work were laid above a layer of insulation material to prevent downward heat transfer.

Health spa heats up from underneath

Even-Heat Ltd Health spa heats up from underneathWarmth at the Castle Lodge health spa situated in Stobo Castle, Scotland, has been provided by an Even-Heat underfloor heating system. The 24V system comprises 340mm wide strips of electrically conductive plastic with copper braiding embedded along both edges. Strips were laid on the sub-floor and connected to the electricity through a transformer. It is supplied in rolls with paper backing protecting the ready-applied adhesive, so the installer has to just peel off the paper and stick the required lengths of element in place to cover the required floor areas.
