The ability of Forticrete Roofing Products' Gemini 'twin-tile' to provide the appeal of a plain tile with the practical advantages of an interlocking product were major factors in its specification for a new Care Village near Northampton. Strict local planning regulations that require all building in the area to blend in with the attractive rural location, meant that the aesthetics of the tile were crucial when specifying. Some 70,000 Gemini tiles in Autumn colour will be used for five separate buildings. The dry fix ridge system will provide a mortar-free solution to ridge detailing.
