Franke has devised a way to deliver purified water with the Franke Triflor tap. Demonstrating three handles and using a ceramic filter, purified water is delivered in a separate channel to ensure no contamination from the hot or cold flow. Filtering out chemicals, bacteria and particles as small as 0.2 microns, the water will be safe to drink even if the source is contaminated, and whether it is hard or soft.
Franke has extended its range of cooker hoods with a new collection. Leading the 40-strong portfolio is the novel Swing FSW 908 hood which boasts a black glass and stainless steel exterior façade that swings open in the middle to reveal inset lighting.
This eight speed touch control extractor features an optional remote controlled option, along with 24 hour continuous ventilation which provides a constant flow of fresh air in the kitchen all day long.
Franke also offers aluminium cassette grease filters which can be removed and put in the dishwasher, in addition to optional charcoal filters for containing odours.
The extractor is designed to be quiet, and features an illuminated digital display.
Geometric shapes are rapidly overtaking curves as the latest consumer must-have for the kitchen but achieving crisp edges requires precision manufacturing, says Franke.
The company maintains it has employed expert engineers to develop 'unique tooling' to ensure the uniformity and consistency of angles to make its Mythos sinks and taps collection 'pin sharp and crystal clear.' Three sink materials are available: stainless steel; Frafanicite and ceramic. Each comes in single bowl or one-and-half bowl format, available with accessories such as strainer bowls.
