A conservatory installation at Frilford Heath Golf Club in Abingdon, recently completed by Franklin, is to serve as a striking function room overlooking the golf course. The rooftop conservatory was designed by DK Design Consultants, while Franklin supplied all of the materials for the installation including portal frame. The roof was Franklin's own specification which was based around Quantal's thermally broken aluminium system and clad internally with Franklin's own internal ash hardwood finish. David Franklin, director, said: 'We are a getting a number of enquiries from the commercial sector for something a little different. Our unique system allws us to blend the performance of aluminium with the warmth and beauty of hardwood.'
