Door panel manufacturer GAP has reported a 100% success rate for its Heat Shield technology. Since its launch earlier this year, the company has produced 5,000 door panels using the exclusive technology, and has had no returns for warping, bubbling or cracking due to heat absorption. Woodgrain finish door panels are said to be able to withstand dramatic temperature fluctuations.

GAP has invested over £125,000 in streamlining its door panel factory. The company has bought a purpose-built Cannon Shelley vacuum forming line as well as cooling and water pumps. The vacuum former moulds door panel skins and will increase the efficiency and capacity by up to 33%.
