One of the world's biggest shower manufacturers used a recent show to unveil its latest products. The SideWay Showerpanel from Hansgrohe is said to be a stylish panel that can be easily installed in the smallest of shower cubicles.
It comprises a Raindance AIR hand shower said to offer three spray modes.
New styling has been introduced to the Metris and Metropol bathroom mixers from Hansgrohe. Each range is now available in E and S designs. The E design is described as being elegant with soft, organic contours, while the S is straight with stripped down, geometric lines. Both ranges offer single lever basin and bidet mixers suitable for those with limited dexterity, as well as exposed or concealed shower only or bath and shower mixers. Both styles of the Metris and Metropol basin mixers come with new mixing technology embedded in the M² ceramic cartridge, whose reduce size enables the mixers to take on such lean lines.
According to Hansgrohe, recent research by the Helen Hamly Research Centre at the Royal College of Art has revealed that some of its non special needs products scored highly as also being particularly easy to use. Included in the collection from the company is the Talis Elegance Start-Stop ? a chrome mixer tap which is simply operated by pressing down on the mixer handle. Also available is the Axor Starck basin mixer with its joystick or feather style lever which can be easily operated with just one finger or the back of the hand. The product range also includes the Ecostat Electronic thermostatic mixer.
