Announcing the launch of a new and improved acoustic flooring board, flooring specialist Hodgson & Hodgson said the new board was able to offer high performance in a very thin package. The Reduce Micro 21 product is just 21mm thick but, the company says, is a 'highly effective acoustic product which exceeds the latest Building Regulations Part H'.
The board is intended for use with timber floors. It damps vibration and attenuates both airborne sound and impact noise passing through the floor, the company added. It is best used on projects where specifiers are looking to upgrade separate floors but not wishing to lose any height within the room.
