Flooring adhesive from illbruck Sealant Systems eliminates the need for nails and screws in a range of carpet fitting and timber flooring applications.The PU foam adhesive is suitable for the fixing of carpet grippers to solid floors. It can also be used to fix wood and composite flooring to joists or for laying ceramic tiles. Structural sealing solutions for development at Ascot Racecourse have been provided by a watertight expansion jointing system from illbruck Sealant Systems. Robust Compriband Superspan jointing profiles provided a solution for the movement joints established between the concrete sections on parts of the grandstand. The product has an interlocking design comprising of aluminium side plates and pre-drilled mounting flanges, with a flexible central sealing insert and lateral sealing sheets. A stainless steel capping section protects the components and is torqued down to achieve watertightness. In some areas of the site, sections have been combined with the Compriband Jointspan FR material for fire resistance.

New fire-rated products from illbruck Sealant Systems have been added to its Webbseal branded range of sealants. Webbseal FR-S is a fire-rated, silicone sealant for durable fire resistance applications that require high movement accommodation, such as perimeter and expansion joints. The product is a one-component, neutral curing cartridge sealant used to cap other materials to enhance fire resistance. Webbseal FR-A is a one-part, acrylic-based, fire-rated sealant for joints and voids. It is suitable for maintaining structural integrity around pipes and for perimeter pointing around fire door frames and windows. Webbseal FR Acoustic Intumescent sealant combines flexible sealing properties with effective sound insulation.

By sealing all three levels of the installation (external, internal and immediate) the i3 window sealant system eliminates the risk of condensation or damp penetration, the company claims. Expanding its range of Compriband Interspan mechanical movement joints, illbruck Sealing Systems has added three all metal profiles. The three models include the FS40 and 46 series for use on locations with fork lift and pallet trucks, featuring a small visible surface area for appearance and aesthetic qualities. Also in the range is the new FS155 heavy-duty jointing system that accomodates movement of up to 40mm and comes in a selection of profile heights, making it suitable for use in a collection of floor structures and surfaces. The final new product is the FS146 which is designed to withstand private car and pedestrian traffic but can also cope with movement requirements of up to 50mm. All new profiles incorporate a uniform, symmetrical, visible surface that is gap-free between the components to avoid dirt accumulation as well as extruding aluminium sections.
