As part of an expansion to its softwood and hardwood decking, International Timber has introduced the Brite premium composite decking brand. The product comprises 50% wood fibre waste product and 50% plastic.
'The product offers a higher than average level of recylcing making it an environmentally friendly decking option,' said the company. It is aimed at commercial and residential application as it requires low levels of maintenance and because of 'its realistic looks'.
Available in American White Oak or European Oak in a choice of grades, sizes and specifications, International Timber has introduced the Floor-IT range. The solid wood planks in 20mm thickness provide natural depth and charm. Solid timber flooring also offers the benefits of durability, anti-slip and good acoustic properties for a variety of applications.
Expanding its range of products to the timber frame market, International Timber has introduced the bespoke production and supply of engineered I-joist solutions. An effective alternative to conventional construction timber, Ijoists are suitable for the construction of sub and intermediate floors, as well as wall studs and roof joists. The company now offer I-joists in a choice of widths and depths, and are cut to length on bespoke order for each project. Standard masonry items, timber frame hangars as well as ancillary items such as braces, restraint straps, perimeter and partition dwangs can also be supplied as part of the solution.

The solid wood planks are 20mm thick and offer durability, anti-slip and good acoustic properties. They can be supplied pre-finished or unfinished allowing the freedom to stain, wax or varnish.
