Providing environmental control at Bridgemere Garden World in Cheshire, a new entrance from Kaba Door Systems has been installed.
The company installed a 4.8m diameter Talos RDR-MO1 two-wing revolving door to the main entrance of the houseplant area. The new doors maintain a constant temperature and draught-free environment to keep the plants healthy, regardless of external climatic conditions.
Also installed on the site were several other automatic door installations across the six acre site. The revolving door contract was the first installation of this product and of this size in the UK and a co-operation between the company's turnstile and revolving door division and their North West regional office.

The company installed two Geryon security revolving doors and accompanying screenwork to staff entrances at the back of the building. Card readers from ADT Fire and Security were fitted on the doors afterwards.

Valve manufacturer Glenfield Valves has refurbished an old factory on its Kilmarnock site using five sectional overhead doors from Kaba. The glass and metal design of the doors enables maximum light into working areas while insulated sections provide thermal performance.
Security at FirstAssist has been improved with Kaba Door Systems? Charon half-height rotating turnstiles and pass gate. The system was installed to control and monitor the flow of traffic through the company?s main reception area. Staff can pass through the turnstiles by scanning a photo ID card. Those without pass cards must report to reception for access.
?Health and Wellbeing? provider FirstAssist Group has protected its Purley and Bournemouth sites with an access control system and turnstiles from Kaba?s Integrated Systems Division. The exos 9300 access control system manages access to both sites which are linked via a TCP/IP Wide Area Network with PIN and proximity readers installed.
