It includes four one-strip oak floors: white-washed Oak Wasa; grey toned Oak Stuart; olive black Oak Bourbon; and ebony Oak Tudor. Each board measures 2400 x 187 x 15mm - a long, wide format which is claimed to give an original floor board look. The long edge of each board is bevelled to complement its width, whilst chips and indentations in the wood's surface create a distressed appearance,

Wood flooring specialist K?hrs has introduced a new brushed and matt finish to a selection of floors from its European Naturals and Linnea Seven Collections.
Complemented by a matt lacquer, the range create a durable, tactile surface on a selection of two and three-strip Oak wood floors.
Floors featuring the new finish include K?hrs Oak Verona, Oak Siena and Oak Corsica from the European Naturals Collection. They are available in a variety of grades, from rustic 'Country' to clean, even-grained 'Town' and have a multi-layered construction and glueless Woodloc joint. They can be installed, floating, on most dry level surfaces and relocated if necessary.
Installed at Pepe Jeans' Carnaby Street store, Kahrs Oak Canterbury one-strip wood floor, with a white oiled prefinish, provides a white-washed backdrop as well as durability and ease of maintenance.
The product is a 15mm multi-layered wood floor from the company's Classic Selection. Responding to market demand, Kahrs has launched a new Active Floor. The company says that, unlike a traditional sports floor, its resilient shock-absorbing properties are an integral part of its construction. It can be installed directly onto the subfloor without battens or special fittings. Available in Oak and Beech, Active floor is 30mm thick, providing a low construction height. Each board has a satin lacquer prefinish, applied during manufacture, which is designed to provide easy maintenance. The surface can be vacuumed and wiped or mopped if necessary. The floor measures 2090mm x 205mm and has a 4mm wear layer that can be sanded three to four times. It conforms to DIN 18032-2 in all categories.

The new products - Paris, Verona and Barcelona - are available in both clean and rustic grades of Oak and Beech. The surface of each board is covered with two rows of 100mm wide strips, measuring between 300 and 600mm in length. Laid in a random pattern, the individual strips create a ?wide board? appearance, popular in both contemporary and traditional interiors.
