Kinedo's self-contained shower cubicles need no use of silicone sealant in installation to make them waterproof. Launched in 2003, the range has instantly become a best seller, one of its top features being the elimination of use of silicone sealant whilst guaranteeing watertightness. All Kinedo’s self –contained cubicles and accessories are all made from the finest materials and, depending upon the model, have either 4mm, 6mm or 8mm toughened safety glass to BS6206 Class A with a CristalPlus finish that makes cleaning easy by reducing limescale build up, especially where hard water is a problem. The new Kinezen quadrant cubicle (pictured) is an all glass self-contained quadrant shower cubicle. Its minimalist design features two sliding doors and opaque 6mm glass panels. Thermostatic and hydro options are also available.

Sixteen Opus Quad standard cubicles have been installed at a Cannock Development in the West Midlands. The developer's site manger said: "The reason we opted for Kinedo cubicles was because all the apartments are on the first floor and we did not want any possibility of leaks through to the offices below." The 900 x 900 mm cubicles have sliding curved glass doors and white, easy to clean moulded back panels.

Allison Homes has selected 80 Kinedo self contained shower cubicles for its Anchor Quay project in Lincoln. The Kinedo Opus Quad Thermo is tile, grout and silicone free. It Features sliding curved glass doors and back panels of white, easy to clean material that has been moulded to incorporate accessory areas for toiletries. Furthermore, the safety glass doors have been treated with CristalPlus, a coating that reduces limescale build up.

To provide facilities for the staff of the Tower of London's Welcome Centre, a separate WC and wash basin from Kinedo have been installed. As there was no connection to a soil stack or sewer available both discharge into a Saniflo Sanibest unit and the waste is pumped automatically away first vertically and horizontally to the soil pipe connection. The Sanibest is designed to perform in demanding situations such as may be encountered where public are using the facilities. It features a high performance motor combined with a macerator action that will deal with any objects accidentally disposed of through the WC.

Local directory publisher, Thomson Directories, has installed a Kinelux unit from Kinedo at its headquarters in Farnborough, Hampshire. It is a self-contained shower cubicle that is waterproof without the need for tiling or grouting. Designed to fit into an alcove, Kinelux requires no silicone sealant in its installation, saving time and material costs and avoiding leaks, the company claims.

It is a silicone-free cubicle designed to be fitted against one wall with an inward saloon style styrene door with a full height magnetic seal.
