LG has lauched a heat recovery system - LG Electronics UK Ltd

LG has launched a heat recovery system, the Multi V Sync, which gives simultaneous heating and cooling from one outdoor unit. The heat absorbed from indoor units in cooling mode is recycled and re-used for units requiring heating. LG claim that this unit is the first to offer rapid heat/cool changeover, without compromising on capacity.

A new VRF range from LG has been launched, providing a range of indoor units with end-user health benefits in its new advanced filtering systems. The LG Multi V vrf range encompasses Multi V, Multi V Plus, and Multi V Space. All three systems can power up to 40 indoor units and can be controlled via the internet, a PC, a deluxe or simple controller. Newest to the range is the Multi V Space, an energy efficient, space saving, and quiet VRF unit. It is suited to a site where optimum performance is needed to deliver summer cooling and winter warmth. Inverter driven, it is available in 5 or 10hp in heat pump option only.

Inverter driven outdoors - LG Electronics UK Ltd

An inverter driven, energy efficient outdoor VRF unit, with both compressors and fan motors, has been launched by LG. The Multi V Space offers up to 10dBa quieter than other equivalent capacity systems, the company says. It can be sited inside a plant room with the fans facing outwards on a louvered wall or exterior grille, and requires 900mm front access. The sirocco fans reject the heat away from the outdoor unit to the left and right which prevents short cycling. Systems are available in 5 or 10 hp, in heat pump option only. One unit can control up to 16 indoor units including cassettes, ducted, and wall mounted, with control via a PC and the internet.

Cooling down the fans - LG Electronics UK Ltd

At the club retail outlet at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, four two-pipe Multi V Plus units together with 12 indoor units from LG's vrf range of systems have been installed to provide 120kW of comfort cooling. The two-pipe system used at Arsenal FC can power up to 40 indoor units including Art Cool, cassettes, and ducted wall mounts. A bespoke control system was produced for the site that can be controlled via the internet or a PC. The outdoor unit features: one inverter driven and one high efficiency compressor, with 'Gold Fin' on the condensing coils for durability; uniform distribution of refrigerant; low noise/high static pressure outdoor fan; two comp cycle for uniformity in oil and pressure; LEV and sub-cooling system and R410a refrigerant. It uses 'auto addressing' to confirm each indoor unit, without the need for dip switches.

Applied at health centres, sports facilities, and retail malls, LG's range of VRF and mini-VRF air conditioning systems offer flexibility of installation, high efficiency and low noise. The outdoor unit features R410a refrigerant gas, one inverter driven and one high efficiency compressor, Goldfin protection on the condensing coils for durability, inverter driven low noise and high static pressure outdoor fans, and the PCB is encapsulated in a urethane mould for reliability and security. Indoor units can be a mixture of up to 40 cassettes, wall mounts, ducted or Art Cools, from just one 40 hp outdoor unit. The outdoor units use 'auto addressing' by storing and sending numbers to a part of the indoor unit.

New finishes have been added to LG's Art Cool collection of air conditioning units. Shades of blue and red as well as pastel and natural colours make the units suitabile for both domestic and commercial environments. The Floor Standing unit models offer cooling capacities from 2.2 to 7.1kW and heating outputs of 2.5 to 8.0kW. A design and aesthetic choice is offered in the selection of casings - some sites prefering to box units to blend into the existing interior decor whilst others make a feature of the decorative design. The floor standing units with a casing come with decorative panels. A choice of controllers is available with an infrared remote control allowing end users to control air circulation, room temperature, and sleep mode, or a LCD wired controller with a timer and touch sensitive screen.
