 Eighty five crown cut maple doorsets from Leaderflush Shapland were specified for a purpose-built children's home in Worcester.
The high performance characteristics of the doorsets, such as fire resistance and acoustic control, were essential elements of the specification.
Nicholas Tweddell, project architect, said 'I really feel the building has benefited from such a high quality product, the geometry has made some fascinating views.'

Permaskin Leaderflush Shaapland door frames - Leaderflush & Shapland |
 The performance door maker, Leaderflush Shapland, has installed new doors in the library at Brownlow School, Melton Mowbray. The installation is the first in the country to use Permaskin, Leaderflush Shapland's new finish for door frames.
Permaskin is a hardwearing and flexible finish that protects frames from accidental damage both in transit and on-site. By reducing instances of surface chipping, the 'new' appearance of the doorframe is maintained for longer.
Permaskin is said to be ideal for a wide range of applications, especially when a durable finish is needed.
