An LBF balanced flued water heater from Lochinvar has been installed in the newly refurbished Devonshire Spa training facility at the University of Derby's campus in Buxton, Derbyshire. The boiler and water heater manufacturer supplied the university with 160-LBF water heater to provide a hot water supply for the hand-wash facilities and showers. Heating Butlins - Lochinvar Ltd

Butlins new timeshare development in Minehead has been supplied with Lochinvar's high efficiency space and water heating equipment. Three CP-M100 fully condensing boilers with manifold pipework assemblies were supplied for space heating requirements. The Lochinvar equipment was specified by London-based Curona Design.

Fully condensing gas-fired water heater - Lochinvar Ltd

Lochinvar has launched a new fully condensing gas-fired water heater, the EcoKnight. The company says this new addition effectively gives it the largest and most flexible range of gas-fired condensing water heaters available on the UK commercial market. The EcoKnight comes in five models offering thermal efficiencies of up to 109 per cent and low NOX emissions. Hot water outputs range from 709 to 2,436 litres per hour.

Lochinvar has launched a new - Lochinvar Ltd

Lochinvar has launched a new fully condensing gas-fired water heater, the EcoKnight. The company believes this addition will give it one of the largest and most flexible range of gas-fired condensing water heaters available on the UK commercial market. Offering thermal efficiencies of up to 109 per cent and low NOx emissions, there are five models with hot water outputs ranging from 709 to 2,436 litres per hour based on a temperature rise of 50 deg C.

College supply is cut above - Lochinvar Ltd

Banbury-based water heater and boiler manufacturer Lochinvar has supplied water heating equipment to the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in Scotland. The company supplied two copper-fin MCW500CE water heaters, which were installed on a stacking frame, and two LST 166 energy saving cylinders, to provide hot water to all of the 78 bedrooms at the college.

Hostel heating - Lochinvar Ltd

Hotel equipment - Lochinvar Ltd

Water heating equipment for the Ramada Hotel in Coventry has been supplied by Lochinvar. The company supplied two CFW 750 water heaters and two LST 250 storage tanks in a rooftop plant room, to provide a hot water supply to 166 bedrooms in the hotel. Available in outputs from 432 to 10728 litres per hour, the fast recovery of hot water is suitable for a hotel environment where requirements are variable. The LST250 storage tank has a capacity of 1155 litres and will cope with high demand. It is also foam insulated to ensure standing losses are kept to a minimum.

Firing up efficiency for care centre - Lochinvar Ltd

High efficiency gas-fired boilers and water heaters from Lochinvar have been supplied to the Market Drayton Primary Care Centre in Shropshire near to Stoke on Trent. Some three CP-M condensing boilers and an LBF180 storage water heater will provide space heating and hot water to the centre. The CP-M is a wall hung boiler range and has six models available with outputs from 60kW to 180kW, designed for use in varied commercial and industrial applications. A pre-mixer burner design keeps NOx emissions to a minimum and a cascade management system comes as standard with a built in weather controller. For water heating the LBF range provides a room sealed balanced flue assembly and automatic ignition as standard with insulation minimising standing heat loss. Water heaters have storage capacities from 75 to 400 litres and recovery rates from 87 to 2000 litres per hour.

Imperial heating - Lochinvar Ltd

Water heating equpment from Lochinvar has been supplied to Imperial College London's Wye campus in Kent. Two Charger CE600 auto water heaters with destratification pumps were supplied for the baths, showers and hand-wash facilities for the student halls. Replacing calorifiers, the water heaters were specified to offer a reliable and efficient supply of hot water.

Adding heat to the drama - Lochinvar Ltd

High efficiency boilers from Lochinvar have been supplied to the Carriage Works Theatre in Leeds. A pre-fabricated skid mounted boiler package containing three CP-M 80 boilers were supplied and have been installed on the roof of the theatre. The use of a packaged boiler plant offers the benefits of off site assembly and testing and can be designed to fit into compact dimensions. A plant room can also be installed with gas and water connections being the only requirement to complete the project. The CP-M condensing and modulating boiler has a stainless steel heat exchanger which is efficient when not condensing. A built-in weather controller adjusts the demand for heat in response to the outside temperature, and the pre-mixed burner design keeps NOx emissions to a minimum.

Teaching a lesson in heating efficiency - Lochinvar Ltd

Water heater and boiler equipment from Lochinvar has been supplied to an independent college in Nottingham. Two CFW650 copper-fin water heaters and two LST166 storage tanks were supplied to Djanogly City Academy to supply hot water to the new site. The two heaters have a combined heat recovery rate of 6210l/hr which ensures a supply in peak demand periods and operates efficiently. Copper fin water heaters operate on the principle of fast output in relation to low storage capacity and can provide large volumes of hot water during periods of high demand. Plantroom space was restricted in the Nottingham project, and the compact design of the boilers with the ability to 'stack' were reasons for the products being specified.
