 Retaining the smoke and acoustic benefits of the Batwing, the new Curved Fin Batwing by Lorient also increases durability and ease of door operation. It meets Document E when used with a threshold seal and is manufactured from a rigid pvc spine and elastomeric fins co-extruded for weld strength and durability. The product has been endorsed by Certifire and the British Board of Agrement.

 Responding to new regulations on the acoustic requirements of door assemblies, Lorient Polyproducts now offers complete packs of selected products, in combinations tested to meet the requirements of Approved Document E, as well as Documents B and M.
Each pack provides a complete seal system to acoustically seal the perimeter and threshold of one doorset. Options are available for use with 30min. fire and smoke rated doors, and non-fire rated doors. The packs are also offered with a choice of threshold seal length, as appropriate for use with standard door sizes. Full fitting instructions are included in each pack.
