Carolina Cellar, a National Trust cottage in Port Quin, Cornwall features gutters and downpipes from Marley alutec.
As part of the cottage's refurbishment, over 30 metres of Alutec Traditional half-round gutters in black and matching downpipes were installed. The guttering is designed to emulate cast iron, while offering the advantages of aluminium.
Rob George from the National Trust commented on the project: "Marley Alutec provided us with an alternative to cast iron that was easier to fit and maintain, while enabling us to retain the original aesthetics in the refurbishment."
The Alutec product range offers products which are lightweight, low maintenance and durable, says the firm.

Marley Alutec Aluminium gutting was specified for the National Oceanography Centre Southampton (NOCS), to provide a durable system that achieves greater rainwater capacity, without having to change the structure of the building.
Due to easy installation, the 16-week programme was reduced to nine weeks. Aligator Boxer 160 mm pipework, Aligator Giant, and 102 mm square downpipe was supplied for the 10-storey building, located within Southampton's working port.
The pitched-roof building had experienced problems with its plastic rainwater guttering during storms and high rainfall. All existing guttering was replaced, after Marley Alutec was selected by Gentle Consulting following a review of the market.
