A building programme in Southampton has resulted in Wessex Property Services who manage the housing stock for Atlantic Housing in Eastleigh specifying the Marshall-Tufflex rainwater system in black for around 170 properties this year and 220 last year. This is part of an annual programme for Wessex, that's now into its second year. Universal XL was specified because it is said to be beneficial for large residential, light commercial and conservatory applications where a high capacity system is required and fewer down pipes help improve the look of the installation and reduce clutter.

Specifiers of rainwater guttering, installers and contractors involved in commercial projects where a high capacity system is required are being urged to take a look at a new product from Marshall Tufflex. Universal X-Stream is a 170mm x 117mm deep high capacity rainwater system designed to handle large volumes of water with ease. It is claimed to be ideal for commercial projects and buildings with a large roof area. Maintained to have a 'contemporary aesthetic design' that can hold large volumes of water and make it flow away with no difficulty. The X-stream system uses standard 110mm pipe and fittings with wide rubber seals.
