Turner Powertrain has achieved reduced noise levels and increased air quality following the installation of Niche MUA warm air heaters at its Wolverhampton machining and production facility. The noise generated from the factory caused complaints from residents so two MUA 175 VAV heaters were installed in the manufacturing area of the premises, controlled by a single PC terminal. In the machine room, where space was a significant issue, a heater was mounted externally. The products are equipped with variable air volume capability, enabling heaters to control air speed automatically, according to air quality and temperature. If the air quality changes and venting is required, the heaters increase air speed to introduce fresh air into the building.
