Heating systems from Stockport, Cheshire based Nordair-Niche have been keeping internal temperatures at a comfortable 20?C in the recemtly redesigned Norwich International Airport terminal.
The construction work on the terminal updates the 20-year old building, whose heating system had virtually reached the end of its life.
The low pressure hot water system was stripped out and replaced by three Nordair Niche combined heating and ventilation units.
The units have a heat recovery system that recovers 60-70% of the heat from exhaust air and return it back to the building via the air supply.
A heat recovery system incorporates a cross-plate heat exchanger and the gas fired heaters are fitted with modulating burners.
Customers at IKEA stores now experience a warmer welcome as many stores are now fitted with Nordair direct gas-fired air handling units to make sure that temperatures remain constant during opening hours. The latest to be equipped is the Cardiff store which has a DF14 AHU, which serves the Dirivent ventilation system from Inviron.
