Designed to reduce maintenance and repair times, P4 offers its FASTEL (Fully Automatic Self-Testing Emergency Lighting) technology. As the name implies, FASTEL carries out its own self test regime, requiring only inspection of the luminaire at the prescribed intervals to comply with BS 5266. It can also be linked via a communication bus to a central monitor, connected to a building management system. The company also offer Serpentine, a low voltage luminaire conversion kit designed to fit through a standard 60mm diameter cut-out to provide a stand-alone self-test regime solution for 12V 50W low voltage lighting.
