To provide fire safety and thermal performance at a Tesco store in Northern Ireland, Paroc Panel Systems' fireproof exterior cladding panel solution has been used. Exterior cladding panels from Paroc Panel Systems have been used in the construction of a 2100m business incubation centre on the Alba Campus, West Lothian. Some 900m of the 150mm mineral wool based cladding panel system was used alongside its pre-formed, factory manufactured corner panels, all of which were finished in the Smooth-E finish. A u-value of 0.26W/mK was achieved, providing thermal performance. The mineral wool core met the environmental requirements.

External cladding from Paroc Panel System's Fireproof range has been used in the construction of a new 12022m? distribution centre in Nottingham for cosmetics company, L'Oreal. Some 4800m? of the product was specified. It will maintain its integrity in a fire for over six hours and insulate against heat for hour and a half. The system also has a fire performance to meet the fire safety requirements of the boundary wall. Manufactured using a high performance mineral wool core the panels achieve a u-value of 0.16 W/m?K. They can span over 8m without the need for additional structural support.

Following the launch of its Total Wall fa?ade system, Paroc Panel System has introduced a new rainscreen solution that creates a striking 3D 'pyramid' effect. Based on the company's exterior cladding panel which is designed to speed the build process, the Pyramid fa?ade system can span in excess of 8m without secondary support. The rainscreen element of the Pyramid system is fitted to Paroc's insulating, mineral wool based exterior cladding panel. Each pyramid is constructed using structural bonding technology that combines an aluminium honeycomb core with a light gauge, pre-finished metal skin.

Combining a composite panel with a rainscreen system, the new Total Wall system from Paroc Panel Systems has been designed to expand the external finish possibilities in building design. The solution is based on the thermally efficient, fireproof composite panel system which is manufactured using mineral wool, encased in two steel sheet facings. In the rainscreen element of the system is metal cassettes which are fitted to the exterior cladding panel using a carrier system. Insulation levels achieve a u-value of 0.16 W/m?K.

The system combines a newly designed jointing method and a specialist coating to achieve a smooth surface that is easy to clean and will not harbour bacteria. Consisting of a mineral wool core, encased in two steel facings that are coated in a specially developed pvc finish, the panel is designed to prevent the growth of bacteria on its surface. With a pre-engineered jointing system, it achieves a smooth finish, with no dirt traps, allowing quick and simple cleaning. Composite panel manufacturer, Paroc Panel System, has launched a new Rounded Corner Panel. Manufactured off-site, it uses a mineral wool core - classed as non-combustible - as well as steel exterior and interior finishes. Grooves on the interior side of the panel are cut to allow the panel to achieve differently shaped corners. On-site, the panels are fixed to one side of the corner and pulled around to be fixed to the other side.
