The Luna range from Dorset Woolliscroft by ceramic, vitrified and terrazzo tile manufacturing group Pilkington's has won the tile industry (TTA) 'Floor Tile of the Year' award 2007.
Dorset Luna tiles have a softly textured structure that offers high slip resistance, quoting a R12 rating, and offer architects and specifiers confidence that the range will perform in exceptional conditions.
The tiles offer both internal and external application uses, comfort underfoot and with matching coves, channels and fittings, and can be used as an edge to edge floor solution for fitting out leisure pools and health spas.
Creative use of access flooring has been employed by Quiligotti, part of the Pilkington?s Tile Group, in a new building for Goldsmiths College, part of the University of London. The top floors of the building are primarily dedicated to visual arts studio space. This space is defined by free-standing partitions that carve up the open studio floor plate to create individual work areas. The raised floor system by Quiligotti uses high-density particleboard panels that can be exposed to paint, scuffing and other marks, then lifted and replaced.
