Long test

Relcross Ltd Long testTaking nearly three years to complete, LCN's 4011 and 4041 door closers have successfully passed 10 million cycles during testing performed to ANSI/BHMA A156.4-2000 standards. Relcross distribute LCN door closers throughout the UK. The minimum ANSI standard for grade 1 door controls with back check is 1.5 million cycles but in high-traffic areas such as schools, hospitals or department stores, it can be expected that there are almost 2 million cycles annually. Cast iron closer bodies, combined with full complement bearings and double heat treated steel pinions, allow for LCN to certify their products to 10 million cycles. Relcross can provide electronic copies of the official testing reports from Intertek Testing Services for each of the four door closers that were tested to both architects and specifiers.

Relcross Ltd One of the first projects at the John Kyrle High School in Ross-on-Wye as part of a refurbishment programme was the complete redesign of the washrooms. Bradley Express Lavatory Deck systems from Relcross were chosen to provide the necessary style and quality for the washrooms. These units can serve one, two or three users at a time on standard 750mm spacings. The continuous bowl is constructed of 'vandal-resistant' Terreon and each unit was fitted with three infra-red mixer taps. From a choice of 18 colours, Empire Grey was chosen for the girls washroom and Oasis Green for the boys. Both units were colour co-ordinated with the toilet cubicles and the tiling.

Washfountains claim victory at The Trafalgar

Relcross Ltd Washfountains claim victory at The TrafalgarWith over 640 pubs in the UK, JD Wetherspoon has a reputation for converting a wide array of buildings into pubs. A typical example is The Trafalgar in Portsmouth which has been a Christian community centre and a student residence. It has now been refurbished an is operated as one of its Lloyds No1 bars. As part of the refurbishment a stainless steel Classic Washfountain with infra-red control and soap dispenser was supplied by Relcross. The use of a centrally located washfountain instead of wall mounted basins enabled the design to meet regulations governing the number of washbasins relative to the number of toilet cubicles, without having to increase the size of the washroom. Installation costs are also reduced, as a washfountain has just one hot and one cold waste connection.
