Single-ply waterpoofing membrane maker Renolit, claims to be improving safety for installers by improving slip resistance of its PVC walkway under wet conditions. Used for trafficked areas on roofs, it is part of the company's Alkorplan range.
The Walkway's anti-slip characteristics have been enhanced by the use of a new emboss pattern called Reference 1920. This is said to achieve a performance graded as 'very safe' or 'safe' under wet conditions - the most hazardous environment for roofers.
