Reynaers' CW50 SC curtain walling system has helped create a new look for Sainsbury's as part of the regeneration of Maidenhead town centre.
The impressive £50m regeneration scheme incorporates a central public piazza, multi-storey car park, new bus waiting and changing area and residential units. The entire Sainsbury's building features Reynaers CW50 SC curtain wall facade and roof system. The company reports that the CW50 SC was specifically selected as it provides designers with unlimited creativity freedom, allowing maximum entrance of light into a building. Reynaer says part of the systems success is owed to the fact that,'being structurally clamped, it allows any combination of vertical and inclined planes, together with the integration of different types of vents, creating a seamless facade with no exterior capping required.'
Reyaers National Sals Manager, Paul Duffy, said:'We're proud to have played a significant part in such a major project.'
