Heating the sports hall of Marymount International School in Kingston, Surrey, has been achieved with a system from Reznor. The company supplied an lpg-fired RPVE unit heater, linked to a PVC Air Mixing duct. It is mounted externally on a steel frame at mezzanine level. Warm air is forced out through tiny perforations along the length of the duct.

At the Royal Bath and West showground in Somerset, an air mixing duct from Reznor has been installed. Served by three air handling units, it creates a temperate atmosphere throughout the year and is part of the annual show's 'Sustainability' theme. The duct works by forcing air through tiny perforations along its length. Sizing is determined by position and the total air volume that is to be distributed.

Air handling units fitted with Reznor heating coils that remove moisture from the atmosphere are assisting in preserving the only surviving steamship designed by Brunel. A water-covered horizontal glass plate creates an airtight space between the hull and the dry dock wall, providing a controlled dry atmosphere in and around the hull of the ship and preventing damaging corrosion. A dehumidification plant removes excess moisture and reduces humidity by some 20%. The company's indirect gas fired heating coils dry the air which is passed via air-to-air plate exchangers to the exhaust. Inside the ship, a dehumidification system housed in the boiler room controls internal temperature and humidity. Temperature sensors around the hull are linked to an energy management system.

St Lawrence College in Ramsgate has specified a heating system from Reznor to provide the necessary temperature control in its multi-use hall. The school wanted a versatile system which would cope with the variety of activities in the hall, including both sports and examinations. An RPV Pak unit was mounted externally, suspended on a steelwork platform. It ducts warm air through the external walls into the hall and distributed via an air mixing duct. This delivers tempered air to the building without air movement.

When CB Imports of Leeds moved to a four-storey former mill at East Ardsley, it realised that the ageing boiler system at the new premises needed to be replaced. The company needed a heating system that would provide dew point protection and keep its boxes dry. Working with M&E contractor The McKiernan Group, Reznor supplied a system based on the V3 single-burner heater. The system is designed to maintain constant temperatures of between -3?C and +16?C, protecting stock from frost and condensation while creating a comfortable environment for employees. The 11 V3 heaters were ceiling suspended on each of the 6,000m² warehousing floors. Their low weight and profile meant they could be positioned between the storage racking to achieve even heat distribution.

For its new showroom in Nottingham, Sytner BMW makes use of a combination of Reznor indirect fired warm air units, and an Ambi- Rad radiant tube system.
