Robinson Willeys new range of wall-mounted fan heaters - Robinson Willey

Robinson Willey has introduced a new range of wall-mounted fan heaters which will join its line-up of electric direct heating products. Comprising three-models, the RW Quick Heater range is said to be ideal for areas that need fast responsive heat in both domestic and commercial settings. The company told Building Products magazine that it is especially suitable for use in bathrooms and offices. Designed to provide safe, rapid and controllable fan-assisted warmth, RW’s Quick Heater line-up offers the perfect all year round heating solution. As well as being quiet in operation and space saving in design, all models are protectively insulated and splash-water proofed to guarantee optimum safety. As well as an integral thermostat, each model features an easy-to-clean filter for the removal of fluff and lint. Delivering up to 2kW of heat, RW said all models are both cost-effective to install and economical to run.

RW's new Metrelec - Robinson Willey

Robinson Willey has launched a new range of electric panel heaters as part of its commitment to the electric heating system market. Designed to complement the company's existing line-up of heaters, the new Metrelec range delivers a high-performance, discrete space heating solution for low-cost budgets. Ideal for both new build and refurbishment properties, this range is also suitable for both domestic and light commercial properties. Comprising seven models ranging from 500W to 2.5KW, the Metrelec range provides a cost effective way to create or extend an existing heating system when buildings are being refurbished or new rooms added. Tracey Falshaw, RW's marketing manager, said: 'Together with a range of timer models to be launched early next year, this range provides the ideal compliment to our existing and popular line up of Evidence, Norel and Glamox panel heaters.'

The introduction of Desire, the first pebble bed option in Robinson Willey's Super Eco inset LF gas fires, is setting the desires of energy efficient homebuilders alight. Alongside three existing coal effect models, Desire boasts an advanced burner system that delivers 68% heat efficiency, and 4.0kW heat output. A deep bed heat engine also provides a flame picture and glow. Unlike other Super Eco inset models, Desire features an integral stainless steel exterior trim, and a top positioned slider heat control fitted as standard.

Providing temperature control for electric panel heating - Robinson Willey

For use on the Glamox range of electric panel heaters from Robinson Willey, the Harmony Control system is suitable for use in buildings where there is multiple room function. It is designed to save energy by programming times and temperatures for individual rooms, facilitating up to 15 zones. Through a small handheld keypad, which is installed centrally within the building, Harmony Control operates via frequency and is capable of functioning over a 50 metre radius.

Age concern fundraising - Robinson Willey

In order to help the old and vulnerable survive the winter months, gas and electrical appliance manufacturer Robinson Willey has pledged to help raise ?150,000 for age concern. To achieve this the company will donate ?1 for every Firegem Visa or Sahara radiant gas fire sold during the campaign period. As well as helping older people stay warm, the money raised will help provide advice on energy efficiency and good winter nutrition.

Offering reduced carbon emissions and less energy costs with high efficiency outputs, it is suitable for conventional chimney installation. For local authorities aiming at reducing CO? emissions and fuel poverty, Robinson Willey - in partnership with solar panel manufacturer Solartwin - has launched a solar panel water heating solution. Suitable for domestic properties and public sector premises, it is roof mounted and easy to install featuring a pump that is solar-powered and self-regulating. This directs the control of water through the panel dependent upon the power of the sun. It also eliminates the need for heat exchangers and anti-freezes as well as control peripherals. The panels collect energy from the sun and works even in cloudy weather. No connection to mains electricity is required and in the event of a power cut, the panels still function. Environmental standards are also ensured as the product's two main components - aluminium and elastomers - are both recyclable. The panels can be finished in a range of trim colours to complement the roof.

Modernisation heating up - Robinson Willey

Robinson Willey Throughout Blyth Valley Council's 7000 housing stock a heating upgrade programme has utilised products from Robinson Willey. A choice of the company's gas or electric fires with fire surround or hearth is being offered to tenants as part of Blyth Valley Housing's four-year 'Decent Homes' modernisation programme. Electric fires for use include the company's Riviera and Belvedere models which have energy efficient bulbs and thermostat. These fires are installed with the Viscount fire surround in medium oak or mahogany. Alternatively the tenants can choose the Firecharm LF gas fire. This model can be installed with the company's Heath fire surround in cherry yew or a Marfil stone marble back and hearth.

Storage heater range widened - Robinson Willey

Three automatic models have been added to Robinson Willey?s range of electric combination storage heaters. Available in the same outputs as the three existing manual models - 1.7/0.92kW, 2.55/1.38kW and 3.4/1.84kW - each automatic model features an automatic charge control that comprises twin sensor thermostats. these thermostats enable the amount of heat stored overnight to be adjusted in line with ambient temperature conditions. If the temperature is milder, the heaters automatically store less heat, while in adverse weather conditions the charge acceptance will automatically increase.
